Empower Growth

Impact (⭐) is the estimated credit/points the Air Force typically recognizes for an activity. It reflects outcomes and visibility—how many people were served, resources moved, mission relevance, leadership scope, and measurable results.

Effort (💪) is the work required—time on/off duty, planning and coordination, complexity, skill, logistics, and sustained commitment.

Bottom line: Work ≠ points. High effort doesn’t automatically mean high impact; prioritize opportunities that create measurable outcomes and broader visibility, not just hours.
